图式理论在初中英语听力教学中的应用_英语论文

Applying the Schema Theory to EFL Listening in Junior High School

摘要

初中是英语基础知识和学习方法积累的重要阶段, 此时需要引导学生通过正确有效的方法培养英语的学习习惯,尤其在英语听说能力上的提高。

本文基于大量文献研究的基础上,首先从概念上再次解释图式理论及其在国内外英语教学方面的应用。此外,针对目前初中英语学生听力学习中出现的诸多问题,通过调查研究探析图式理论在解决这些问题时的作用及其重要性。调查分析得知图式理论教学对于初中生普遍的听力问题有明显的促进效果,并在初中英语听力教学上获得新的启示。这为英语听力的教学完善提供建议和参考,使图式理论能够更有效地运用到英语听力教学中,达到切实提高初中生英语听力能力的目的。

Abstract

Junior High School is an important stage to accumulate rudiments and learning methods of learning English for students. Therefore, students should be guided to develop the habit of learning English through correct and effective method, especially in ability at English listening and speaking.

Based on literature review, this paper firstly explained the concept of Schema Theory and its application in English teaching at home and abroad. After that, it attempted to investigate how the Schema Theory solve the problems which were found in English listening in Junior High School classes through questionnaires and comparative method, so as to try to get new enlightenment on junior middle school English listening teaching. And that would make efforts and provide suggestions to perfect listening teaching method. According to the results of the research, the Schema Theory can be more effectively used in English listening teaching. It is helpful for solving the problems students have in listening and improving the ability of their English listening.
