生态女性主义视角下《飘》的研究_英语论文

A Study on Gone with the Wind from the Perspective of Eco-feminism

摘要

玛格丽特·米切尔是二十世纪美国著名的女性作家，曾获得1937年的普利策小说奖和美国出版商协会奖，《飘》是她的一生中唯一一部长篇小说，对美国文学史有深远的影响。

本文从生态女性主义的角度出发，结合作家个人经历和历史背景，运用文本分析法、历史研究法等方法发现《飘》中三个女性角色艾伦、媚兰、斯嘉丽的生存和发展问题。通过对文中的女性形象,特别是斯嘉丽在不同时期的性格、行为与思想上的对比分析，表现文中女性角色在当时历史环境下思想蜕变的可贵，呼吁当代女性正视自身价值，不断完善自我。

Abstract

Margaret Mitchell is a famous female writer in twentieth-century America and Gone with the Wind is the only novel in her lifetime. In 1937, Margaret Mitchell won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the second annual National Book Award from the American Booksellers Association. The novel is one of the world’s best-selling books. 

This paper aims to apply specific text analysis, guardian and reconstruction from female images to nature to show the eco-feminism in the novel. Through the display and analysis of the protagonist’s personality, behavior and thoughts in three different periods, reveal the growth of eco-feminism. These can prove the value of thought transformation under the historical environment at that time and cheer contemporary women up to face their own value, constantly improve themselves.
