A Study on Reading and Analyzing Skills of International Business Contracts    

摘要

如今的社会经济形势正在逐渐全球化和一体化，世界经济实体之间的联系越来越紧密。 在这种情况下，国际商务合同正变得越来越重要。 因为它可以监督经济实体履行义务并并且保护他们的权益。大多数的国际商业合同以英文书写。 中国加入世界贸易组织后，中国与其他国家的关系越来越和谐。 中国商人已经完成了自身的转型和升级，走向了了世界。但是，在目前的情况下，一些商人对商业合同没有深刻的理解。 众所周知，商业合同是一种法律文件，它应该合法和具体。 此外，它还涉及到经济领域。许多商人没有很好的掌握国际商务合同的语言特征。 除了跨文化的差异，商业合同的理解和撰写也存在有很多问题。为促进中国与其他国家经济实体的商业交流，利用法律形式维护自身的合法权益，在本文中，我们将通过比较范例，从词汇，句法，文本，三个不同的角度出发对国际商务合同中的语言特点进行分析。

Abstract

Today's social and economic situation is gradually globalization and integration, the world's economic entities more and more closely linked. Under this situation, the International business contract is becoming more and more important. For it can supervise economic entities fulfilling its obligation and protect their rights and interests. And most international business contracts written in English. Since China joined the World Trade Organization, China and other countries get along more and more harmonious and friendly. Chinese business people have completed their own transformation and upgrading, and then, stepping to the world. However, on the current situation, a number of business people don’t have a profound understanding of business contracts. As we all know,business contract is a kind of legal document which means it should write in legal and specific way. Also, it involves economic sphere. So many business people don’t have a good command of  international business contract’s language features. In addition to the cross-cultural differences, there are many problems about business contracts understanding and writing. In order to promote the business communication of the economic entities between China and other countries and use the law form to safeguard their own legal rights and interests. In this paper we will talk the language features of International business contracts from the three aspects of vocabulary, sentence, text, through comparison of a large number of examples. Studying the language features of International business contracts can make us communicate and write contracts effectively in global trade activities.
