Etiquette and Taboos in International Business Negotiations

摘要

商务谈判礼仪指在长期的商务谈判交往的过程中形成的满足文化适应性的行为或活动的规范,了解学习国际商务谈判礼仪可以减少甚至避免不同文化、不同国家间沟通交流时产生的鸿沟、理解障碍、误会或摩擦。当今社会,国际商务谈判几乎每时每刻都在进行,掌握国际商务谈判礼仪并能进行灵活运用将很好地推动谈判进程,促使谈判成功。本文作者在写作过程中发现,由于新世纪新时代国际文化交流、国际商务谈判发生日益频繁,不同国家之间的礼仪、禁忌的中英资料、例证等十分丰富,很容易找到, 完成本文的写作有较好的保障。本文对国际商务谈判的礼仪与禁忌进行系统分析,并以具体事例论证阐述国际商务谈判礼仪与禁忌的作用与影响,从而说明礼仪与禁忌在国际商务谈判中重要性。

Abstract

Business negotiation etiquette refers to the norms of behavior or activity which meet the adaptability of culture in the course of long-term business negotiation. Studying international business negotiation etiquette can reduce barriers to communication gap, understanding, misunderstanding and friction between different countries and different cultures. Nowadays, international business negotiations happen almost every moment. Learning and using business etiquette and taboos well can help accelerate the negotiating process, take a step closer to success. This paper aims to reflect the effects of etiquette and taboos by analyzing the negotiation etiquette and taboos so as to offer certain amount of help to the possible readers  who go in for international trade or who do paper writing concerning international business etiquette and taboos or cross-cultural communication.
