摘要

宝玉石自古以来就在人类生活中扮演着重要的角色，与人们的日常生活、思想感情乃至国家的政治经济活动密不可分，并且宝石与玉石不同的魅力作用于人的感官和思维，使人产生不同的美的感受和美学意识。同时，各民族不同的审美文化也赋予了宝玉石不同的审美价值。本文主要以西方人自古对宝石情有独钟而东方人对玉却生死相依这一现象为切入点，对宝石与玉石的审美属性从天然美，艺术美及人文美的角度进行比较，从中总结出中西方存在的审美文化的差异，并从审美方式和审美情趣两方面对其进行阐述。为探讨这种差异的原因，本文借鉴了前人对中西方宝玉石文化的研究及关于思维方式的研究理论，从根源上探讨了不同的思维方式对审美的影响。在当今世界不同文化碰撞交流的过程中，本文旨在促进不同文化主体的相互理解，为创造一个更融洽的交流环境献微薄之力。另外,中国玉文化博大精深且在世界上独一无二，古代的玉器在政治、经济、文化、思想道德、宗教信仰等方面,都起过其它艺术品无法取代的特殊作用，本文希望唤起读者对传统文化的重视与传承意识。

Abstract

Since ancient times, precious stones, with their inseparable relationship with human life, thoughts and feelings and even the country's political and economic activities have been playing important roles in human life. Varied beauty of gem and jade touches people's sensory organs and arouses different feelings and aesthetic sense of beauty. At the same time, different aesthetic habits of different cultures also give them distinctive aesthetic values. Based on the phenomenon that westerners prefer the beauty of gem while Chinese prefer the beauty of jade, this thesis compares the aesthetic attributes of gemstones and jade from aspects of their natural, artistic and humanistic beauty and figures out the differences residing in Chinese and western aesthetic culture which are illustrated in the aesthetic means and aesthetic taste regard. In order to explore the cause of this difference, this paper draws on the previous studies on the culture of Chinese and western gemstones and the research theory about the way of thinking, and discusses the influence of different ways of thinking on aesthetic views from the deep root. In the process of the collision of different cultures today, this paper aims to improve mutual understanding and make a modest contribution to creating a more harmonious communication environment. What's more, China's jade culture is profound and unique in the world and the special role jade played in the political, economic, cultural, ideological and moral, religious fields in Chinese history is irreplaceable by any other works of art. This paper also hopes to arouse readers' consciousness of inheritance.
