Analysis About the Role of Emotional Factors in Second Language Acquisition

摘要

本文是以学习者情感因素对第二语言习得的影响为主要内容。情感因素在二语习得中的作用越来越重要因为它和二语习得的成功有着直接的联系。很多研究者也已经开始关注情感因素和语言学习之间的关系。情感因素包括动机,个性特征,态度,语言焦虑和移情。积极的情绪可以促进学习,反之起到阻碍作用。因此,该篇论文从如何培养学习动机,制定不同的学习策略,克服语言焦虑,树立正确的态度和增强移情能力几方面来探究情感因素与语言学习的关系。除此之外,给语言教学和学习提供一些启示。

Abstract

This thesis is mainly based on the influences of learners’ emotions on second language acquisition. Emotional factors play a very important role in second language learning because they are associated with the success of second language acquisition directly. Many researchers have already focused on the relationship between emotional factors and language learning as well. Emotional factors include motivation, personality, attitude, language anxiety and empathy. Active or positive emotions can promote our second language learning while negative emotions can obstruct our learning in second language. Thus, this thesis is aimed to explore the relationship between emotional factors and language learning from the following aspects: how to stimulate learning motivation, how to formulate different learning strategies, how to overcome language anxiety, how to cultivate correct attitudes and how to foster empathy. In addition, some enlightenment is given to language teaching and learning.
