摘要

本文主要就奥斯汀著名的小说《傲慢与偏见》中她的婚姻观进行了研究分析。在《傲慢与偏见》中，奥斯汀描绘了四对不同类型的年轻人的婚姻。她指出婚姻不是由财产和社会地位决定的。事实上，爱情是幸福婚姻的最基本的条件。她还专注于男女之间的平等并鼓励女性在婚姻中追求平等。本文从当时的历史背景，奥斯汀的感情经历，性别平等的重要性等几个方面分析了奥斯汀婚姻观形成的原因。不管什么年代，奥斯汀的婚姻观都有着深远意义的影响。

Abstract

This thesis, based on Jane Austen’ s famous novel --- Pride and Prejudice, probes into her view on marriage. In her novel Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen described the different marriages among young people. She pointed out that marriage is not determined only by property and society status. In fact, true love is the most fundamental condition for a happy marriage. Moreover, She focused on the equality between men and women and tried to arouse women’s awareness to achieve equality in marriage. The thesis analyzes the reasons for her view from the historical background, Austen’s emotional experience, the importance of gender quality, etc. Austen’s views of marriage has the far-reaching implication.
