摘要

月亮意象常被用于诗歌当中以传达诗人的感情和思想。本文以五首雪莱的诗歌和五首李白的诗歌为例，从认知诗学中的图像-背景理论、概念隐喻和文本世界这三个层面分析与解读中英文诗歌中的月亮意象，找出月亮意象在中外诗歌中的异同。研究主要发现：1）月亮意象在中外诗歌中都能作为图像或背景，但在中国诗歌中更多被使用为背景而在外国诗歌中更多以图像出现；2）月亮意象在中外诗歌中都有正面形象和被拟人化，但反面的形象则只出现在外国诗歌中；3）月亮意象在中国诗歌中只扮演文本世界构成部分的对象，而外国诗歌中更多是文本世界构成部分的主角。月亮意象在中国诗歌中的功能比外国诗歌中要多。本文希望此研究能为读者提供新的视角挖掘月亮意象的深层含义。
