中外文化的交流越来越频繁，而影视作品作为文化交流的重要桥梁，字幕翻译就显得尤为重要。本文基于关联理论，对美国影视剧《吸血鬼日记》的字幕翻译进行重点讨论分析。作者首先介绍了关联理论的基本概念，随后以此为依据，选取了删译法、简释法和明示法三种翻译方法，分析了该剧中的一些翻译实例，体现了关联理论在字幕翻译领域的实践性和重要价值。
