近年来，英剧凭借其独特的魅力，越来越多地进入了国内观众的视野。本文探讨了影视字幕翻译的特点及限制因素，并对奈达提出的功能对等理论进行了概述。本文从词汇，句法和文体对等层面分析了功能对等理论在《九号秘事》的字幕翻译中的应用，并指出相应的翻译策略。

Abstract

In recent years, English drama, with its unique characteristic, has attracted more and more attention of domestic audience. This thesis concludes the features and constraints of subtitle translation, and summarizes the development of Nida’s functional equivalence theory. This thesis analyzes the application of functional equivalence in subtitle translation of Inside No.9 at lexical, syntactic and stylistic levels, and points out some corresponding strategies of translation.
