摘要 

中国饮食文化具有很强的民族特点、语言特点和文化特点,然而语言差异始终阻碍着我国饮食文化在海外的传播与发展。因此,探讨中国菜名英译中应该遵循的一些翻译策略,可以帮助中国餐饮走出国门,在海外传播与弘扬我国饮食文化。

本文通过查阅大量文献,研究与本论题相关的理论基础。同时,通过分析中国菜名的特点,找出中国菜名英译中所存在的问题。并结合中国菜名英译实例,阐述中国菜名英译中的翻译策略及其注意事项。

本研究发现,应对不同类型的中国菜名,译者应灵活采取不同的翻译策略。同时,应加大对中国菜名英译方面的研究并规范一些中国菜的英译名。
