Original English Films' influence on English Majors' Language Learning_英语论文

摘要

英文原版电影作为一种多媒体形式的学习资源，也是大众文化的载体。其震撼人心的视觉效果和生动形象的表现形式能够很好地帮助英语专业的学生进行自主英语学习，培养学习能力，增强学习兴趣，扩大知识面，最终达到全方位的素质提升。与此同时，学生在利用英语电影学习时也会产生一些亟待解决的问题。本文将通过英语专业学生所做的调查问卷研究观看原版电影对英语专业学生的学习的影响，其中包括改善听说，帮助深入了解西方文化。除此之外还能激发学习兴趣，提供更加优良的学习环境，并且由此发现具体问题、提出切实可行的建议，例如依据自身学习水平选择电影，观影前做足准备工作等等，最终使英语专业的学生能更好地利用原版电影进行自主学习。

Abstract

As a multimedia learning resource and a mass culture carrier, original movies can help English majors to become autonomous learners with cultivating learning ability, enhancing learning interests, expanding their scope of knowledge, and finally improving qualities in all facts with the stunning visual effects and the vivid form of expression. Meanwhile, There will be some questions when students learn English assisted by original films. By using questionnaires this thesis aims to study the influence on watching original films to the English majors, including benefits in inspiring the learning interest, providing better training environment, improving speaking and listening ability, and promoting a deep understanding of western culture. Finally the paper finds out specific problems, making feasible suggestions, such as selecting films based on learning levels, making full preparations before watching films, and so on. With the help of these suggestions, English majors can make better use of the original films for autonomous learning.
