摘要

《飘》是一部著名的以美国南北战争为背景的小说并在世界范围内广泛流传。小说主要描述了斯佳丽在困难时刻，竭尽全力帮助家人走出贫穷的人生经历。在这部小说中，斯佳丽常常会成为人们议论的对象，且评论褒贬不一。事实上，她是一位真正的女强人。在女性主义角度，她具有反叛的精神；在心理学视角，她又为了满足自己的一切需求而不惜付出一切；同样从达尔文主义看，她还是一位适应性极强的人，因此能够在社会的不断变迁中生存下来。该论文从以上三个方面对人物形象进行分析，展现一个全面的斯佳丽。

Abstract

Gone with the Wind is a popular American novel at the background of the American Civil War and widely spread all over the world. It depicts the experiences of Scarlett who attempts to use all possible means to help her family to come out of poverty. In the novel, Scarlett is one of main characters and often discussed. Some praise her while others criticize her. In fact, she is a real strong woman at that time. From feminism point, she is a feminist with rebellious spirit. From psychology perspective, she tries to find her needs all the time and pays any price. Also, in terms of Darwinism, she is an so strong adaptable woman that can survive in constant changes of the society. The paper makes an analysis of character’s image from those three perspectives to show a comprehensive Scarlett.
