摘要
电影片名是电影给观众的第一印象,好的英译片名能吸引观众,进而增加票房收入,还能促进中西方文化的沟通。本文以接受美学为理论基础、中国电影片名英译为研究对象,主要采用分析、描述和比较的方法,对一些电影片名案例进行了详细的研究,归纳总结出接受美学对中国电影片名英译的指导作用。译者翻译时需要充分了解中国电影片名注重意合及人文的特点。此外,在翻译过程中,译者需充分表现出原片名中的信息功能和美感功能,赋予观众以美的享受,从而深深地吸引他们的注意。为实现译名与观众以接受为中心的视野融合,提高中国电影片名译名的可接受性和译名以观众审美需求为中心的吸引力,论文还提出一些可行的翻译策略,具体可操作的翻译策略有以下几种:意译、创译、仿译和改译。
