摘要

全球化时代对法律文本翻译的准确性提出了更高要求，对该领域的研究也愈加有现实意义。本论文以《中华人民共和国高等教育法》英译本为例，结合目的论三大法则，即目的法则、连贯法则和忠实法则，通过语篇分析法，对该译本的权威性、客观性、专业性等源语法律文本具有的特点进行分析评估，旨在证明目的论指导我国法律文本英译的合理性和可行性，明确翻译目的的决定性作用，并以期完善法律翻译理论与实践，为其他法律翻译实践提供借鉴意义。
