The Functions and Translations of Prepositions in Business English_英语论文

摘要

随着中国贸易不断走向世界，我国的商务英语的运用也日渐频繁。介词在商务英语中运用频繁，位置灵活，功能多样，容易引起句子歧义。考虑到英语介词的特点及汉英两种语言的差别，英语介词的翻译需要进行深入研究才能得到较为妥善的翻译方法。翻译时需结合上下文，对介词作用加以分析，通过适当的策略才能贴切表达原文的意思。由于研究的是商务英语中的介词，又不同于平时的英语用语，需要根据上下文分析介词在商务合同句子中充当的成分，再结合正式的商务用语习惯，严格遵守合同原文意思，准确翻译介词，调整整篇合同结构得到最严谨，最准确的译文。同时也是改进商务英语系学生学习中滥用，错用介词的有效途径。
