摘要

科幻小说属于文学中的一个分支，是文学中探索与科学相关的神奇现象领域的、具有警示作用的文类。科幻小说有助于人们树立科学发展观、启迪和培养人们的科学幻想力，更能引发人们对社会问题的深层思考，科幻小说在中国文学的现代化进程中起到了积极的作用。在中国科幻文学的萌生与成长阶段，外国科幻小说的翻译发挥着重要的作用。20世纪80年代是我国科幻小说发展的黄金时期，亦是科幻小说译介的繁盛期。外国中译的科幻小说数不胜数，但汉语科幻小说英译的文章缺却寥寥无几。

本文旨在研究汉语科幻小说的英译情况，了解中国科幻小说在英语世界的发展情况，从而进一步提高汉语科幻小说的写作质量。同时，为我国参与到世界科技发展，打开国际科幻小说市场进一步提供文化参考。
