摘要 

一直以来，国内外学者都在不断的创新实践中寻找能更好地帮助学习者认词读词的方法。自然拼读作为一种认词工具，通过教授英语字母或字母组合和其发音之间的对应关系，帮助学习者在理想状态下做到“见词能读，听词能写”，最终促进阅读能力的提高。自然拼读自本世纪初引进到我国并运用于小学阶段的词汇和阅读教学，迅速受到热捧，一些教育单位甚至过分夸大自然拼读在培养阅读能力中的作用，错将拼读能力等同于阅读能力。研究“自然拼读”在英语国家的应用情况有助于客观评估它对我国英语教学的适用程度。本文结合语言习得的相关理论，分析拼读、阅读、语言习得等诸多关系，结合实例探讨如何解决现实教学中自然拼读的应用误区使之更有效地服务于我国英语启蒙教育。
