On Subtitle Translation of American Series Gossip Girl from the Perspective of Skopos Theory_英语论文

摘要

影视作品作为文化的载体，在各国文化交流中扮演着重要角色，而国人通过这些影视作品对国外的政治、经济、文化及日常生活有了很大程度的了解。字幕,作为影视作品的不可或缺的一部分，能帮助观众直观地理解剧中人物的对话，更好的欣赏影视作品。然而由于时间、空间及其特定语境的限制，字幕翻译的难度较大，在一定程度上对译者和翻译方法设定了高标准和高要求。基于此种实际情况，本文从功能目的论角度探讨字幕翻译，具有一定的现实和时代意义。

本文从功能目的论出发，以美剧《绯闻女孩》为例，分析探讨功能目的论三原则在字幕翻译中的体现与运用,并提出两种适用的翻译方法：直译和意译，希望能为字幕翻译者提供一定借鉴和帮助。
