摘要

作为中国古代诗歌的集大成者，伟大的现实主义诗人杜甫，其诗歌风格独特且具有鲜明的时代特征。中英文化差异的客观存在是限制翻译的一个根本原因，这就决定了译者在翻译杜诗的过程中必须尽可能地保留原文化意象所蕴舍的异域文化信息，从而减小诗歌的不可译性，更好地促进中国诗歌文化的对外传播。
