摘要 

《了不起的盖茨比》这部文学名著的成功离不开其作者菲兹杰拉德在叙事手法上的巧妙运用。本研究以法国文学评论家热奈特的叙事理论为基础，运用叙事顺序、叙事语式、叙事语态这三个叙事角度去具体解析《了不起的盖茨比》的叙事结构以及这种结构给读者带来的感受。研究得出菲兹杰拉德对于叙事手法的熟练运用为小说塑造人物性格，构建文本框架，以及为读者带来真实的阅读感受都做出了不可磨灭的贡献。同时，研究表明叙事手段的多种变化既可以为《了不起的盖茨比》的研究提供新方向，也可以为叙事理论与文本分析的结合提供新角度。
