An Analysis of the Causes of Underachievers and Corresponding Instructional Strategies in The Ron Clark  Story

摘要

素质教育的目标是“让全体学生充分发展”。然而，学困生问题在学校教育中已经讨论了很多年。无论在哪个教育阶段包括小学，中学，以及大学，学困生问题一直是一个话题。如果学生学习困难的问题得不到解决，素质教育就不会得到深入的发展和推动。因此，找到学困生的原因，并发现解决困难的途径成为一件刻不容缓的事情。

本文基于对学困生理论研究的基础上，构建论文框架如下。全文除引言和结语外，共分为四个部分。首先对罗恩·克拉克的故事做简要的介绍。本文的第二部分，笔者将从学困生的概念、行为特征等方面进行论述，并对学困生原因进行分析。作者将对《罗恩·克拉克》影片相应的教学策略和建议进行分析，以便帮助学生培养良好的学习主动性、学习习惯和学习方法，从而增强自信心，提高学习成绩。最后，本文将分析在《罗恩·克拉克》影片中受到教师罗恩·克拉克的教学方法影响的一些学生的变化。

Abstract

The aim of education for all-round development is to " let all the students develop fully ". However, no matter at which stage of education, including the primary school, middle school and the college, the problem of underachievers has been a topic. So if the problem of students with learning difficulties cannot be solved, quality education will not be developed and promoted deeply. Thereby, it is a matter that admits of no delay to look into the causes for the formation of underachievers and need to find a way out of the difficulty. 

In this dissertation, on the basis of the theoretical foundation of underachievers, the writer constructs the article as the following. The dissertation is divided into four parts apart from the introduction and the conclusion. In the first place, there is a brief introduction to The Ron Clark Story. In the second part of the paper, the writer will discuss the definition of underachievers, behavior traits, and analyze the reasons. Then the writer will analyze some corresponding instructional strategies and suggestions reflected in The Ron Clark Story, which help students to cultivate good learning motivation, study habits and learning methods so that they can strengthen their confidence and improve their grades. In the end, this paper will analyze influences and changes of certain students in The Ron Clark Story.
