On A Game of Thrones' Textual World: From the Perspective of Tolkien’s Fairy- stories

摘要

本文从托尔金的童话理论出发，运用理论中童话故事的定义、起源、功能的创造性阐发及第二世界理论等方面的解读《权力的游戏》的构建与意义。从童话理论的角度，探讨乔治·马丁如何构建一个真实可信的第二世界以及第二世界给读者带来的的幻想、恢复、逃避、慰藉的意义。

Abstract

In terms of Tolkien's theory on the definition, origin, use of fairy-stories and the notion of secondary world, the paper intends to discuss the textual world created in A Game of Thrones’ and elaborates on how the secondary world is constructed with credibility and the functions such as recovery, escape and consolation are fulfilled by the readers.
