《宋飞正传》中幽默语言特征的研究

On the Features of Humorous Language in Seinfeld

摘要

幽默通常会给人带来快乐，在人与人的交往中起着重要的作用。幽默最重要的载体是语言，因此对幽默语言特征的研究有着重大的意义。《宋飞正传》是20世纪90年代最受欢迎的情景喜剧，其中有很多幽默的会话，为我们研究幽默语言的特征提供了充实的素材，因而本文选取《宋飞正传》前两季的剧本进行研究。通过从修辞和文化背景的角度研究分析《宋飞正传》中具体的会话语言例子，证实从修辞角度分析，幽默语言的特征与词义修辞格，结构修辞格和音韵修辞格有关；从文化背景角度分析，幽默语言的特征与历史背景，文化背景和社会背景有关。

Abstract

Humor usually brings happiness to us and plays an important role in communication. Language is the most important media of the expression of humor, so the study of the features of humorous language is of great significance. Seinfeld is the most popular sitcom in the 1990s and there are many humorous conversations, which provide us with material for the study of the features of humorous language, therefore in this paper, we selected the scripts of first two seasons of Seinfeld for study. From the perspectives of rhetoric and cultural background, the paper studies and analyzes specific examples in Seinfeld. According to the analysis, it confirms, from the perspectives of rhetoric, features of humorous language is connected with lexical stylistic devices, syntactical stylistic devices, phonetic stylistic devices, at the same time, from the perspective of cultural background, features of humorous language is related to historical background, literary background and social background.
