写作在当代社会占有越来越重要的地位，人们渴望有高效实用的英语写作方法。本文将从介绍过程教学法，分析国内外现状突出英语写作在教学上和学习上的重要性入手，分析研究关于过程教学法在写作中运用的实验，总结证实过程教学法在帮助提高英语写作水平的提高方面的价值，继而介绍过程教学法在英语写作中如何运作及探讨预测达到怎样的效果,以此来帮助英语学习者提高他们的写作水平。

Abstract

Writing is playing a more and more important role in modern society. People are eager to have a practical and effective English writing method. This thesis introduces the process teaching method, analyses the current situation at home and abroad to highlight the importance of English writing in teaching and learning. After analyzing researches on the application of process approach in writing, this thesis sums up the value of process approach in improving the level of English writing. Then, it discusses how the process approach works in English writing and how to predict the effect of the process approach so as to help the English learners to improve their writing.
