中学英语教学跨文化意识培养

Cultivation of Intercultural Awareness in Middle School English Teaching

摘要

长期以来,受应试教育的影响,我国中学英语教学往往重视对学生语言内部结构的培养,而忽视了英语国家文化知识的导入。但是,随着全球化的发展和新课程改革的深入,人们对跨文化意识的培养越来越重视。因此,本文结合新课标的相关要求,对如何培养中学生跨文化意识进行了一些研究。通过研究,论述了中学英语教学中跨文化意识培养的重要性,并从课堂教学、教师和学生三方面对如何培养中学生的跨文化意识提出了一些有效的措施,希望能培养学生的文化敏感性,并提高学生跨文化交际的能力,从而达到有效交流的目的。

Abstract

For a long time, influenced by examination-oriented education, middle school English teaching has paid much attention to the cultivation of students' language internal structure, and transmitting culture of English countries has been ignored.  With the development of globalization and the deepening of new curriculum reform, the cultivation of the cultural awareness has drawn much more attention. Therefore, this paper carries out some researches on how to cultivate students’ intercultural awareness according to New Curriculum Requirements. Through the study of this topic, the paper discusses the importance of cross-cultural awareness in middle school English teaching, and puts forward some measures on developing intercultural awareness which are divided into three aspects: classroom teaching, teachers and students. All of these are in order to develop students’ cultural awareness, the ultimate goal of which is to improve student communicative competence in intercultural contexts.
