摘要

多丽丝莱辛是当代最重要的英国作家之一，是以为被称为”女性小说鼻祖”的女作家。她著述颇丰，创作题材十分广泛。她的作品涵盖了种族矛盾、两性关系、美苏冷战、原子战争、环境污染等20世纪的焦点问题，因此，她多次获得了各种文学奖，尤其是在2007年获得了诺贝尔文学奖，使她的名声更是享誉世界。

《第五个孩子》（1988）是她的一部优秀作品，被称为”小经典”。在《第五个孩子》中，莱辛以家庭日常生活中的困顿为切入点，描写了现代文明的荒原中家庭人际关系的异化，间接地表达了她对当代文明社会中人际关系异化的忧思。目前，由于父母缺乏责任心，许多未成年人走向了犯罪的道路。本文试图从家庭人际关系异化的角度来分析《第五个孩子》中家庭悲剧产生的原因，主要从夫妻关系的异化，父母与子女的异化，兄弟姐妹关系的异化等方面来探讨；因此，笔者想呼吁社会和家庭给孩子更多的关爱，少一些冷漠和隔绝。
