门罗小说《逃离》中女性的困境

爱丽丝▪门罗是著名的加拿大短篇小说作家,并于2013年依靠《逃离》这部作品获得了诺贝尔文学奖，引起了世界范围内各个文学领域的关注，被誉为“世界短篇小说大师”。门罗擅长描写普通女性的日常生活状态，从女性角度出发展现她们的爱情和家庭生活。她的作品《逃离》由八个故事组成，语言朴实，讲述了八个女性的被家庭和男权压制的生活状态和渴望逃离困境获得自由的心理活动，从女性主义的角度提示读者女性独立的重要性。

本文将从女性主义角度出发，以门罗的短篇小说《逃离》为媒介，分析讨论女性在夫权和父权压制下不理智反抗的结果和原因，并且得出，只有真正的认识自我，具备成熟的女性意识，才能够真正的实现“逃离”——即经济和思想上的独立。

Abstract

Alice Munro is a famous Canada short story writer. She won the Nobel Prize in literature by the work Runaway in October, 2013. And her success caused the most attention from literary circles around the world. Because of her great achievement, Munro was honored as the “master of contemporary short stories”. Munro is good at describing the ordinary life of common women. She has used simple language to tell eight stories of eight different women suffering from their love experience and passion of men and longing for running away to seize freedom in Runaway. Munro summarized their failure of escape to emphasize the importance of having a sense of female independence.

Based on feminism, the thesis will analyze the causes of their miserable life in a patriarchal society and the consequence of their irrational escape. And finally the paper will come up with a conclusion, that only women with mature feminist consciousness can realize the real runaway, that is, financial and psychological independence.
