目的论视角下的英语电影片名的汉译研究
A Study on the E-C Translation of English Film Title from the Perspective of Skopostheorie
摘要
随着世界经济文化交流日益频繁,跨文化交流于人们而言不再像以往一般困难。电影作为一种集形、声、色一体的艺术形式,在当下接受度愈来愈高。而来自不同文化背景的电影作品也越来越为中国人民所接受并喜爱。作为电影观众第一信息源的片名,它在整部电影中起到了举足轻重的作用。因此,翻译好外国电影的片名,对译者来说是一项非常重要的任务。
本文从目的论角度出发,提出英语电影标题翻译的目的是吸引观众观看电影,并创造商业价值。本文以2007年始至2017年期间奥斯卡获奖及提名影片的标题为研究对象,分析英语电影标题的特点和功能,总结出英语电影标题的汉译策略。

Abstract
With the economic and cultural exchange getting increasingly frequent,inter-cultural communication is no longer difficult for people in the world. Films, as a kind of artistic form with shape, sound and color, are more and more popular among people. What’s more, foreign films are enjoying the improving popularity in China. Being the first information source of the movie for audiences, film title plays a key role in the whole movie. Thus, it has become a task of high significance for translators to give a perfect translation of the movie title.
This thesis suggests that the purpose of English film title translation is to attract audiences to watch movies and create commercial profits from the perspective of Skopos theory. Studying on the Oscar awarded and nominated movies from 2007 – 2017, this thesis has an analysis on the features and functions of English film titles, and give summarize of the E-C English film title translation strategies.
