摘要

《路》是科马克·麦卡锡最著名的作品之一。近20年来，很多欧美学者专家对科马克·麦卡锡的作品进行了丰富的研究，但国内研究起步较晚，也没有穷尽《路》这本书的内涵，给后来者提供了不少研究的空间。通过研究麦卡锡的《路》，本文旨在厘清麦卡锡的创作特点，借助文学伦理学和生态文学批评等方法揭示出人性救赎这一主题，同时结合9/11文学现象，探讨后启示录小说的社会化作用。随着社会的发展，现代人正经历着严重的精神危机，越来越多人开始关注内在人性世界，本文从人性救赎角度出发，诠释小说的内涵意义，揭示其丰富的现实意义。

Abstract

The Road is one of the most famous works of Cormac McCarthy. In recent 20 years, there exist numerous academies from Europe and America who has done a large quantity of researches on the works of Cormac McCarthy. On the contrary, the research in this aspect in China lags behind, which means that much more remains to be done on account of current situation. Researches on The Road, considered as Cormac McCarthy’s magnum opus, help a lot to figure out the characteristics of his composition. The redemption of Humanity is to be brought to light through the approaches of ethical criticism and eco-criticism. Referring to 9/11 literature, the thesis discusses the role that post-apocalyptic novels play in socialization. Society developing, in view of the severe mental crisis people suffer, an increasing number of people begins to express their concern with the inner world. The theme, the redemption of humanity, implied in this great work can correspond to the modern society if well appreciated.
