The Present Situation of China’s Translation Industry

摘要

我国翻译产业发展的时间虽然不长，但它对经济发展的强大推动作用却是有目共睹的。过去一段时间内，国内外关于我国翻译产业发展状况的研究数不胜数，但大多都是从翻译的市场，人才，技术等某一个方面入手，关注的也大都是中国翻译产业发展过程中存在的问题，目的就是要为我国翻译产业的健康发展进言献策。现在我国翻译产业经过一段时间的发展，早期一片混乱的情况已经有了一定的改变，故从市场，人才，技术，商业模式四个方面对我国翻译产业的发展现状重新做一个较为详实的描述，不仅能让我们对我国翻译产业发展的状况有一个全新的了解，而且一定程度上也有利于我国翻译产业的发展。

Abstract

Though it is not long since translation industry started to develop in China, it obviously has shown its great influence on China’s economy. So far, most of the numerous studies of the situation of our translation industry in China and abroad have fixed their attention on the problems which appear in the development of China’s emerging translation industry from the respect of translation market, talents or technologies in order to propose some suggestions for a promising future of China’s translation industry. Now, China’s translation industry has walked out of the original mess after a period of time. A new survey of China’s translation industry from the aspect of translation market, talents, technologies and business models can offer us a latest clear knowledge of the present situation of China’s translation industry and to some degree benefit its future development.
