摘要

Friends作为美国电视剧史上一部最为成功的喜剧之一，其风趣的语言风格以及所呈现的幽默效果吸引了包括中国在内的很多观众。但是为了将其呈现给有着不同文化背景的中国观众，Friends在翻译方面有着独特的要求。本文将简要介绍《老友记》中不同的幽默，并分析其不同的翻译技巧。为了更好的表达内容，本文将列举各种包含幽默内容的台词，并对其相应的进行分析以及剧本所带来的喜剧效果。本文也将对英汉不同文化背景下幽默的产生和汉语化台词所带来的不同幽默效果进行研究。

Abstract

As one of the most successful TV series in history, Friends has attracted millions of audience all over the world. In order to enable the audience in China to enjoy the fun as well, the translators have to translate the lines and it requires some unique skills which are not often applied in the normal translation. In the paper, we will discuss about the humor expressed in the show and analyze the skills in the translation. To make my points more straight to you, I will list some samples in the paper and analyze the translation in them. Also we will discuss about the cultural humor and the expression of this kind of humor in Chinese.
