儿童文学中的移情及其翻译-以《芒果街上的小屋》为例_英语论文

Empathy in Children's Literature and its Translation:A Case Study on The House on Mango Street

摘要

“移情”现象作为审美过程中一种独特的心理活动，在文学创作中焕发出诱人的魅力。十九世纪德国文论家立普斯提出了他的移情理论，移情说多从审美鉴赏着眼，注重由我及物的审美关照方式，以求在文学创作中达到创作和接受的统一。同样的，移情说也存在于儿童文学中，移情现象出现在儿童文学作品中容易引起儿童共鸣，有助于满足儿童的好奇心和求知欲，有助于启发和培养儿童的想象力。因此儿童文学中的移情现象值得我们进行深入探究。美国当代著名作家桑德拉·希斯内罗丝写于1984年的成名作《芒果街上的小屋》,用诗话的语言描述了生活在芝加哥拉美移民社区芒果街的小女孩埃斯佩朗莎眼中的世界。本文借助此本儿童文学作品，探究其中的移情现象及其翻译的特点。

Abstract

As an important theoretical construct in aesthetics, empathy has become an very important research topic of Chinese and western aesthetic studies. German aesthetics Lipps introduced the term “Einf u hlung” and  it was translated as “empathy” in early 20th century. Empathy means the ability of  imagining and sharing the feelings of other people. When it comes to literature , empathy plays an important role in it’s unity and creation. What’s more, the phenomenon of empathy also exists in children’s literature, and it could satisfy child’s curiosity and their thirst for knowledge. The House on Mango Street was written by Sandra Cisneros, which describes the life of Espranza. The author tries to explore and study the language of empathy and it’s translation features.
