文体学视角下《论读书》的中译本研究
A Stylistic Study on Different Chinese Versions of the Prose Of Studies
摘要
目前，文体和翻译的关系是一个热点问题。为了更好的发挥文体学在翻译上的作用，本文试图通过分析具体文本的不同中译本来研究文体与翻译之间的关系。信息时代存在很多题材、主题等等，而语言本身存在复杂的句式和语言特点，并且译本需要体现原文的文体特点，译者在翻译过程中就存在很多困难。如果译者熟悉文体，那么他们翻译这些材料时会更加容易。《论读书》是弗朗西斯·培根的经典著作，文中运用大量修辞手法，使得语言更加简洁精炼。《论读书》已经被翻译成多个中文译本。关注原文的修辞手法和翻译特点，并且对不同译本进行比较分析，可以更加的了解文体与翻译之间的关系。

Abstract
So far, the relationship between style and translation is always a heated topic in the field of translation. In order to make a good use of style, studying the influence of style on translation can lead to a better translation. In an era of information, there are many different varieties of genres, subjects and so on. There are many difficulties in translating some materials, because of complex sentences and linguistic features. And translators are required to translate these materials that reflect their stylistic features. If translators are acquainted with style, it will help them translate these materials more easily. Of Studies is a famous and classic essay written by Francis Bacon. It tells people the attitude to studies, how to study and the function of studies. It contains many rhetorical devices, which makes the language neat, clear and exact. Bacon’s style is of concise expression and simple diction. Of Studies has been translated into different Chinese versions. In the analysis of Of Studies, its rhetorical devices and its translation will be paid more attention to. To make the analysis clearer, the different Chinese translated versions of Of Studies will be compared in the text. Take them as the instance, the relationship between style and translation can be known much better.
