摘要

词汇是学习语言的基础,它是构成语言学习的最小单位。作为英语初学者,掌握好词汇尤其重要。没有词汇基础的理解、记忆和运用,就不能生成语言的技能。因此,在小学英语教学中,把握好词汇教学是很重要的。在目前的英语教学改革中,把故事教学法应用于小学英语词汇教学已经成为一种趋势。故事教学法不仅可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣与热情,提高英语听、说、读、写等方面的综合运用能力,同时培养了学生交流、合作等素养,是对传统教学模式的一次革命,预示着现代教学模式未来发展的走向。

Abstract

Vocabulary is the foundation of learning a language and the smallest unit of language learning. It is vital for English beginners to master vocabulary well. Without understanding, memory and application of vocabulary, language skills can not be generated. Therefore, it is important for English teachers to do well in English vocabulary teaching in primary school. Nowadays, applying storytelling in English vocabulary teaching in primary school is proved to be a general trend. Storytelling can not only arouse students’ interest and passion in English vocabulary learning, but also can improve students’ integrated skills of listening,speaking,reading and writing in English.At the same time,it improves students’ communicative and cooperative capability. As a revolution to the traditional teaching modes, it predicts the future trend of modern teaching.
