摘要

本文从翻译目的论的视角来探析《沁园春·雪》的三个英译本,以目的论的三个主要原则为根据，从三个原则对三个译本的意象、修辞手法、句法结构、思想内容、诗歌风格等方面进行比较评析，首先从目的性原则出发，探究三种译本是否能达到传播中华文化与审美的目的。其次从连贯性原则出发，连贯性涉及方面广泛，本文重点探究三种译本在意象、修辞手法、句法结构三个方面是否能继承和展现原文的巧妙之处。最后从忠实性原则出发，探究三种译本是否能在字面和思想内容上都能够忠实于原文。本文意在充实对《沁园春·雪》译本的研究，以期对中国古典诗词的英译实践和批评提供参考借鉴。
