摘要

近年来，现代女性生存状况引起了越来越多学者的关注。本文通过对比《觉醒》和《到十九号房间去》的两位女主人公的觉醒的历程、原因以及最终结果，旨在发现在女权运动的不同时代，女性在爱情、婚姻、家庭生活、个人追求及所处的社会大环境等方面的变化情况。此外，本文还探讨各阶段女性主义思想发展的局限及女性主义发展的意义，以进一步探讨在当今社会，帮助现代女性走出的生存困境的可能性及方法。

Abstract

In recent years, more and more attention is paid to the living conditions of modern women. By comparing the road to awakening, reasons for awakening and results of awakening in The Awakening and To Room Nineteen, this thesis intends to find changes in women's love, marriage, family life, personal pursuit and social living environment in different eras.  Significance and limitations of feminist movement are also mentioned with the purpose of further exploring possibilities and ways to help modern women out of their living dilemma nowadays.
