高中英语教学中的文化意识培养_英语论文

On Cultivation of Cultural Awareness in Senior High School English Teaching

摘要

文化意识包括文化知识、文化理解、跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力。在教学过程中, 老师不仅要介绍文化知识,也要重视学生跨文化意识的培养。在英语课堂上介绍文化知识,使学生了解英语国家的文化,进而使学生更好地理解和应用英语,并且更深入地理解和认识本国文化。培养学生的全球化意识增强他们的跨文化交际意识。

基于文化意识是衡量学生综合语言运用能力的标准之一,本文用问卷和访谈等方法,对中学高一学生和英语老师做了调查。了解了英语教学中文化意识培养的现状,探讨了在高中英语教学中文化意识培养的问题。

Abstract

Culture awareness includes cultural knowledge, cultural understanding, intercultural awareness and competence. While teaching, teachers should not only introduce the cultural knowledge, but also lay stress on developing students’ intercultural awareness. To introduce cultural knowledge in English class makes students learn the culture of English-speaking countries which promotes students to understand and apply English language better, to comprehend and cognate the indigenous culture deeply, besides, cultivating their consciousness of globalization and developing their awareness of intercultural communication. 

Because of cultural awareness is one of the criterion in judging students’ comprehensive language competence, I made investigation on students and English teachers in middle school by questionnaire and interview. So that I learn the current situation and analyze the problems of cultural awareness cultivation in English teaching
