摘  要

在世界经济一体化的推动下，外国企业、银行、证券业对中国经济的影响越发深刻。国内外有关金融英语材料的接触越来越频繁，致使金融语篇翻译的需求量也日益增大。因此金融英语的翻译开始引起国内翻译界的关注，并已取得较为可喜的成绩。但是，目前对金融术语翻译的研究还不够全面，国内有很多与之相关的论文和期刊对英语金融术语本身的结构和特征进行了研究，不少金融术语的翻译仍存在较大差异。在这些背景下，本文基于对翻译相关的理论和特征的总结，还有对金融英语特点的详细分析，运用实际例证分析的方法，并在金融英语词汇翻译应遵循的原则基础上，对金融英语词汇的翻译进行研究，提出直译与意译在金融翻译中的应用，并提出了目的论翻译策略在金融英语词汇翻译中的应用，希望能给金融文本翻译的理论方面尽绵薄之力。

Abstract

    With the promotion of the global economic integration, foreign enterprises, banking, and securities industry have a great impact on Chinese economy. China’s contact with other countries on the aspect of financial English materials is becoming much more frequent, which calls for a greater demand for the financial discourse translation. So the financial English translation began to attract Chinese translation circles, and it has made great achievements. However, the current research on financial vocabulary is not comprehensive. There are many papers and journals related to the studies about the structure and features of English financial vocabulary, but the financial terminology translation is still experiencing a difference. In such a setting, this article is on the basis of the conclusion about the relative translation theory and characteristics, and tries to analyze the features of financial English on detail. Furthermore, the article discusses Financial English Vocabulary Translation by real examples in the financial field. It also puts forward the application of literal translation and free translation and offers the application of Skopos Theory of translation strategies, hoping to make some contribution to the financial English vocabulary translation.

Financial texts have already showed its importance in world economy. Many facts prove that it worth the study.
With the development of the financial market all over the world, China is participating in the world’s economic practices. Financial English exhibits its importance in many fields, such as news reports, commercial documents or even English textbooks. Business people shall use financial languages in financial activities of trade activities. Officials of the government shall use financial languages in different documents. Common people can attach financial language in magazines and newspapers. Thus, Translations of financial texts are necessary both for officials and for common people.
