摘要

国外影视作品中的对话受到特殊文化背景，语言表达等因素的影响，其中蕴含的幽默很难被翻译出来。对于幽默的可译性，研究者众说纷纭。本文在讨论了幽默的可译性后，试图以《老友记》中的原文台词及中文字幕为语料，讨论直译法和意译法，创译法以及加注法这些翻译策略在情景喜剧字幕翻译的中的运用以及幽默效果体现的程度。为了使情景喜剧的字幕翻译能够最大限度的传递剧中的幽默，译者应合理并灵活使用翻译策略。

Abstract

Due to effect of special cultural background, linguistic barriers and other factors, the humor in foreign film and television works is difficult to be translated. Researchers have different opinions toward the translatability of humor. This paper discusses the translatability and untranslatability of humor and claims that the humor can be translated with the usage of translation strategies. This paper takes the original language and Chinese subtitles in Friends as corpus to talk about the usage of translation strategies including literal and liberal translations, creative translation and annotation. Finally this paper analyzes the humorous effect when using different translation strategies to prove that the translator can choose and use translation strategies flexibly to maximum the humorous effect.
