摘  要

影视字幕的翻译是近年来新兴的翻译领域。但是由于中西方文化存在着巨大的差异，多数观众无法理解影视作品中传达的内涵精髓。例如美国情景喜剧往往因其文化内涵，修辞，俚语等的使用而充满笑点，但对美国社会缺乏了解的中国人则会感到莫名其妙。如今美剧情景喜剧的字幕翻译在国内还没发展成比较完整的体系，相关的翻译研究屈指可数，从生态翻译论视角的研究更是鲜有涉及。生态翻译学是由国内学者胡庚申所提出的全新理论，着重强调译者以及翻译生态环境之间的相互关系，把译者作为中心。本文将对热门美剧《生活大爆炸》中的字幕翻译进行分析研究。并得出结论：译者因受到翻译生态环境的影响而做出不同的适应与选择。

Abstract

Subtitle translation of films and television productions is a new field of translation and becomes more and more important. However, a great majority of Chinese audience cannot fully understand the connotation and essence of the films and television productions due to the vast deviation between Chinese and western culture. American situation comedies are usually full of laughing points with its cultural connotation and the usage of rhetoric and slangs so that Chinese audience may feel confused without a full understanding of American society. Nevertheless, nowadays the subtitle translation of American situation comedy has not formed a rounded translation system and there is few related translation research, especially from the perspective of eco-translation theory. Eco-translation theory, a completely new translation theory which is put forward by the domestic scholar Hu Gengshen. It focuses on the mutual relationship between translation participants and translational eco-environment. The translator is usually placed at a central position. This thesis will try to conduct a research on the Chinese subtitle translation of popular American series The Big Bang Theory from the prospective of eco-translation theory.
