摘 要

在当今社会,英语已成为一项不可或缺的交流工具,全世界的人们都在学习英语。但作为一门语言,英语因其复杂的语法和大量的词汇而显得枯燥乏味。那如何让小学生学好英语呢?提高对英语学习的兴趣是关键。那与如何让学生能提高对英语的学习兴趣呢?最简单最有效的方法就是通过游戏来学习英语。游戏教学是一种激发并保持学生学习英语兴趣的有效途径。在轻松愉快的氛围中学习英语,不仅很好的顺应了小学生爱玩的天性,又可以很好的进行英语教学。本文讨论的是游戏在小学英语课堂中的作用及其运用原则。在前人的基础上继续探究游戏教学对小学生学习英语的好处以及教师在运用游戏进行教学时应该注意的事项。

Abstract

English is playing an increasingly important part in society today. All over the world, people are learning English. However, as a language, because of the complicated grammar and vocabulary, English is boring. How to let students learn English well? The key is to improve the interest in learning English. How to improve the interest of students in learning English? The most simple and most effective way is to use games in English learning. The game teaching is an effective way to stimulate and maintain students’ interest in learning English. Learning English in a relaxed atmosphere is not only good for the students, but also good for English teaching. This paper discusses the roles of games in English teaching in primary school and theirs application principles. On the basis of previous studies by others, this paper will continue to explore the benefits of game teaching in students’ learning. This paper will also give some suggestions on how to use the game teaching in a better way.

1 Introduction
This paper explores and discusses the roles of games in primary school English teaching and theirs application principles. In primary school English teaching, teachers attract and stimulate students’ learning motivation by using teaching games. In order to improve students’ interest in English learning and abilities of English learning. This article focus on the functions and the applied principles of games in primary school English teaching from the following several specific steps to develop analysis: first, analyze the significance of this research; second, analyze the functions of games in primary school English teaching; third, analyze the design features of games in primary school English teaching; fourth, analyze the applied principles of games in primary school English teaching; fifth, summarize the point of view in this article, analyze the existence of inadequacy, and point out the direction of future research. As a language, English itself is abstract, boring. And the students do not have the corresponding language environment; they will feel strangeness with English. To make primary school English teaching becomes figure, specific, interesting and to make students willing to learn, we must arrange students’ nature, introduce games to the class, use games to encourage students.
