摘　要

如今家庭教育在我们日常生活中扮演着重要的角色。家庭是孩子接触社会的第一个地方。教育伴随着人的一生，而家庭则是孩子的第一个学校。随着社会的快速发展，国际间的竞争变的越来越激烈，已经成为高素质人才的竞争。从某种角度来说，好的家庭教育对于培养高素质人才起着关键作用。本文通过介绍家庭教育的定义以及家庭教育的重要作用，分析了中美家庭教育各自的特点以及不同点。并介绍了中美家庭教育产生不同的原因，不同的历史背景、经济模式、社会状况和家庭价值观使得中美家庭教育有各自特色。文章还深入探讨美国家庭教育给我们的启发。中美家庭教育各自的特色，现如今我们的家庭教育存在很多问题，通过学习美国家庭教育的优点，以此来解决我们家庭教育中存在的问题。

Abstract

Nowadays, family education has become a heated topic. It plays an increasingly significant role in our daily life. Family is the first place where children get in touch with the society. Education will accompany human beings in their whole life. Family is also the first school of children, and parents are a child's first teacher. With the fast development of the society, the international competition has become more and more fierce, and it has become the competition of human quality and talents. To some extent, good family education is the key point to the high qualified talents. Because of the different historical backgrounds and different cultures, there are many differences between Chinese and American family education. This paper has talked about the definition of family education and the importance of it. It also focuses on differences between Chinese and American family education. Different historical backgrounds, different economic patterns different family values and different social conditions are the main causes for the differences. The paper also talks about suggestions for Chinese family education learned from America. Learning from the advantages of American family education, we may figure out some methods to solve our own family education problems.

These years, people pay more and more attention to family education, which is indispensable in our daily life. This paper will briefly analyze the characteristics of both Chinese family education and American family education and expound the causes for the differences. What’s more, it will figure out the problems hidden in our own family education and give some suggestion on our own family education.
