摘 要

英语是我们的第二语言,因此,无论是老师还是学生都还处于英语学习阶段,找到有效的教学方法是老师们的首要任务。在初中英语教学中,激发学生学习英语的兴趣是初中老师的一项重要任务。初中英语教学要注意结合学生心理和生理特点,要有利于引起学生的学习兴趣。游戏用于初中英语教学中,能鼓舞学生的学习热情,消除学习疲劳,促进学生对语言的运用能力。本文将介绍游戏在初中英语教学中的应用,旨在从游戏教学的重要性和必要性方面进行研究,并简要阐述游戏教学的基本原则和意义,深入讨论和了解游戏在初中英语教学中的实践应用,最后,再对论文进行总结。使游戏在英语教学中起积极的作用,活跃课堂气氛,使学生在玩中学到知识,从而成绩得到提高。

Abstract

English is our second language, so both teachers and students are still in the learning stage, to found an effective method of teaching is the primary task of teachers. In junior high school English teaching, to stimulate students’ interest in learning English is an important task for teachers of junior high school. English teaching should pay attention to the combination of psychological and physiological characteristics of students, and it should be helping for arousing students’ learning interest. The games are used in junior high school English teaching, which can inspire students’ learning enthusiasm and eliminate learning fatigue, promote the students’ language skills. This paper will introduce the application of games in English teaching in junior high school, analyzing the importance and necessity of the game teaching and the basic principles and significance of the game teaching, discussing the application of games in junior high school English teaching, finally, summarizing the paper. To make the game play a positive role in English teaching, active classroom atmosphere, make students learn in the playing, and improve their performance.

1 Introduction
1.1  Background
With the economic globalization, relationships between country and country are closer and closer. China is trying to establish good relationships with other countries, especially America and western countries, so we need to learn English well. English, as a second language in china, is a major subject from primary schools to universities. Games play an important role in stimulating students’ interest in learning English and improving students’ language proficiency. Game provides a better English learning environment for English class, which is able to give students more occasions and opportunities for direct use of English, let students conduct meaningful communication in the learning activities, and can provide an intention for students to independently participate in problem-solving and learning environment to complete a task. Through a variety of games, guiding students to actively participate in the learning process in a pleasant environment, pursue and internalize of knowledge.
