摘  要

人因需要而存在,学生因需要而学习。目前,因为种种因素的作用,我们的学生面对知识呈现出一种“假饱”现象。其实从本质上说,我们的学生是始终处于“饥饿”状态的。那么,就值得我们认真探究了。本文作者希望通过研究找出学生处于“饥饿状态”的原因,和激发学生“饥饿感”的方法,进而提供“精美的食物”满足学生的“饥饿感”。基于此,文献综述部分主要回顾了两大方面的研究:一是中学英语课堂的特点及中学生学习英语困难的原因,二是中学生学习英语的心理障碍和怎样激发学习英语的热情。本研究显示,中学英语课堂教学应处理好英语课程、英语教材、英语教学和教师专业化之间的关系。本研究的欠缺之处希望能在未来得到进一步研究。

Abstract

People exist due to the need, students learn due to the need. Now, because of the various factors’ role, our students show the phenomenon of “fake-full” when facing the knowledge. In fact, from the essence, our students are always under “hunger”. So it deserves our serious exploration. The author wants to do a research and find out the reasons why students are under “hunger”, and try to find out the ways to stimulate students’ “hunger”, then offer “exquisite food” to satisfy students’ “hunger”. To begin with two fields of research are reviewed: one is the difficulties for learning English among the Middle School students and characteristics of the Middle School English Class, the other one is the psychological barrier of students in learning English and how to mobilize students’ English learning enthusiasm. This study shows that the middle school English class teaching should handle the relationship among English curriculum, English textbook, English teaching and the specialization of teachers. The deficiencies of the present are self-evident, and hopefully, they are to be addressed in future research.

1 Introduction

  It is hardly surprising that the teaching ways of Middle School English Class have attracted considerable attention in recent years. One is for that English shows its stronger and stronger position in the language rank, the other is that learning and teaching English is seemingly more popular, so it undoubtedly moves to the attention of the English class. This paper will concentrate on the characteristics of Middle School English Class, why the students are under “hunger”, how to satisfy them and mobilize their enthusiasm of learning English.
