在人们的日常生活中,交流是必不可少的。我们让别人听明白自己说不仅仅是通过语言,尽管我们和别人交流的时候并没有意识到这一点。有时,身势语让交流进行得更加容易、更有效。身势语可以传递65%的信息,它被视作是非言语交际。用身势语来辅助英语教学时英语课堂上师生交流的重要方式。它既可以表达感情、传递信息,又能增强教师授课的生动性和感染力,激发学生兴趣。

Abstract:

Communication is necessary to people’s daily life. Although we may not realize it when we talk with others, we make ourselves understood not only by words. Body language sometimes helps make the communication easy and effective. Body language is treated as equivalent to nonverbal communication which sends 65 percent communication message. As an important medium using in English class to assist the teaching of English. It could express the emotion of teachers and convey some information of the English teaching and make the English teaching vivid, affective and interesting.

1. Introduction
Body language is an important medium used in English class to assist the teaching of English. It could express the emotion of teachers and convey some information of the English teaching and make the English teaching vivid, affective and interesting. The body language could make the students to access to more idiomatic English. So it is not only good for their study of English, but also good for them to cultivate keen heart of English learning. Besides, using body language in the class would deliver a large amount of information for the student. The more effective the class is, the more successful English teachers get. It could be easy to make two sides of communicative partner achieve the mutual communication purpose and get an accurate understanding. Both the students and English teacher will benefit from using body language in the class. The thesis will mainly discuss about the possibility and actual effect of body language in the teaching of English.
