摘 要
   
英语课堂提问是英语教学中师生双边活动最基本的也是最重要的形式之一。教师通过提问引导学生最初的反应和回答,再通过相应的对话和交流,引出教师希望得到的答案,并对学生的回答予以分析和评价。会话合作原则是英语语言学中的一个重要的语用原则,在英语教学各方面应用广泛。合作原则有四大准则,分别是量的准则,质的准则,关系准则和方式准则。研究表明,合作原则不仅可以帮助学生更好地了解并且理解教师提问的目的和重点,而且可以帮助学生提高逻辑思维能力、理解能力、表述能力,从而提高问答环节的效率,形成良好的知识输入和输出。本文通过收集大量材料,较为清晰地阐明了合作原则在小学英语课堂问答环节中的四大准则的运用及运用合作原则后对学生逻辑思维能力、理解能力、表述能力方面的提高。作者认为在小学英语课堂问答环节中,老师运用合作原则的知识,可以帮助学生更好地理解知识和提高综合语言能力,提高教学效果并且创造一个和谐的课堂。

ABSTRACT

Questioning in primary school English class is the most basic and important form of bilateral activities between teachers and students. Teachers use questions to guide students’ initial response and answers, and then get whatever answer they want through corresponding dialogue and communication, and finally give analysis and evaluation to students’ answer. Pragmatics studies how words make sense in the context.(Leech,1983) Cooperative principle is an important pragmatic principle in English language teaching that has been widely applied in many aspects of English teaching. Cooperative principle includes four maxims, namely, the maxim of quantity, the maxim of quality, the maxim of relation and the maxim of manner. Studies have shown that cooperative principle can not only help students understand the purpose and focus of teachers’ questions better, but also can help students improve their logical thinking ability, understanding ability and expression ability, so as to improve the efficiency of the question and answer sessions as well as form good input and output of knowledge. Based on large amounts of data, this paper clearly illustrates the application of four maxims of cooperative principle to question and answer sessions in primary school English teaching and its improvements of students’ logical thinking ability, understanding ability and expression ability. The author thinks that application of cooperative principle to question and answer sessions in primary school English can help students better understand the knowledge and improve the comprehensive language ability,as well as improve teaching efficiency and create a harmonious class.
