摘要：

由于中西方文化背景不同，家庭教育方式也存在着差异。西方和中国的政治体制不同，因而中西方信仰不同；中国文化源远流长，汇聚了各民族文化，并有一定的传统性，而西方历史文化则是各国汇聚成的多元性文化。本文首先对家庭教育的含义及特点进行介绍，然后从《超级保姆》和《爸爸去哪儿》这两档娱乐节目入手，指出中西方家庭教育的差异。进而对中西方家庭教育差异的原因进行分析，包括在政治、经济、历史文化等几个方面。通过比较，分析了中西方家庭教育的优势与不足，借鉴西方的优势，对我国家庭教育的完善提出家庭、学校、社会三方面的对策。旨在为我国家庭教育新时期的发展提供可行的参考思路。

Abstract:

Because of the differences between Chinese and Western cultural background, family education is also diverse. Due to the difference between the political system of China and western country, the belief is also different; Chinese culture has a long history, brings together various ethnic cultures, and has a certain tradition, while Western historic culture is converging the diversity of cultures. This paper first describes the meanings and characteristics of family education, and then from the two entertainments programs and this paper points out that the differences of family education between Chinese and Western country. Further, the thesis makes systemic illustration of family education in China and Western country from three aspects including politics, economy, and historical culture. Lastly, with an aim to provide feasible ways to better the development of China’s family education in modern times, this paper tentatively advances strategies respectively from the family, school and society aspects by directing against the disadvantages in China’s family education and learning from Western advantages.

1. Family education overview
1.1 The meaning of family education
Family education is the parents’ (the first is the father and mother) education for their children in family life. According to modern ideas, family education includes influence and education between family members (including parents and children, and so on) in their life; and it also includes hiring teachers who specialize in family education for their children’s education. In English we call it for home education, family education, teaching at home.
