Abstract
 
     As we know, how to apply Cooperative Learning in English class effectively has become a heated debate among educational circles. In this thesis, it firstly introduces the idea of Cooperative Learning in English class and the effects of two personalities on Cooperative Learning including introversion and extroversion. It takes a unit from an English book in middle school as an example, and divides the students of a class into three groups: the introversion group, the extroversion group and the mixed group. And then it studies the diverse performances of three groups in order to learn the effect of different personalities on Cooperative Learning. Finally, it comes to the conclusion that students with different personalities show distinct performances which influences the Cooperative Learning. The introversion group perform well in listening, the extroversion group do well in speaking, while the mixed group are inclined to integrated skills. Therefore, teachers should consider the balance of students with different personalities in Cooperative Learning to improve the efficiency of learning English.

摘要

     如何在英语课堂教学中有效地运用合作学习已经成为教育界讨论的一个热点话题。本文首先介绍初中英语课堂合作学习的理念和影响合作学习的两种不同的性格:内向型和外向型。然后,本文以初中英语课本一个单元为例,把一个班的学生分成内向型、外向型和混合型三组,通过分析三组学生在合作学习中的表现来探究性格差异对合作学习的影响。最终得出结论:不同性格的人在合作学习中的表现不同,影响了合作学习的效果。内向组更倾向于听力;外向组倾向于口语表达;而混合性格的学生则是偏向于综合技能。因此,合作学习分组需要考虑学生性格的多样性,达到组内平衡,提高英语合作学习的效率。
