摘要

国内外关于词汇教学研究的角度和涉及面非常广,尽管如此,研究的核心问题仍是如何更快、更有效地使学生掌握一定的词汇量并能把它们运用于交际。于是随着人们对词汇教学的日益重视和与词汇教学有关理论的日趋成熟,一些流派应运而生,比如词汇法(lexical approach)和词汇的交际化教学以及词项搭配。而本文提出在词汇教学中引入语义学理论,先介绍语义场理论的相关概念以及当代词汇特征以及词汇教学现状,再结合某中学的实践,探讨语义场在词汇教学中运用的必要性,并得出结论,通过运用语义场理论能够使学生更加理解在词汇内部系统中的各种语义关系以及组合之间的搭配,从而达到词汇记忆以及词汇拓展的效果。

Abstract

There are various theories about vocabulary teaching throughout the world like lexical approach and communicative approach, among which the main purpose is to find a key to make the students learn words more effectively and sufficiently and thus they can use the words in daily life. This paper points out that we can combine vocabulary teaching with semantic field theory, which helps a lot in teaching vocabulary. It begins with a brief introduction to the development of vocabulary teaching and basic concept of semantic field theory. Then the paper takes an experiment in Senior High School as a case to analyze the effects of applying semantic field theory into vocabulary teaching and get a conclusion that semantic field theory enables the students to better understand the words with their inner meaning and relationship among words. Additionally, with the help of semantic field theory, students can better understand the usage of new words and enlarge their vocabulary, which makes a difference in vocabulary teaching.
